Dr. Easton and I were colleagues as we both served as CEO Deans of colleges of pharmacy and members of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy. Her leadership was evident by the award recognition that she and her faculty received by the Association for community service activities designed to improve the health outcomes of patients in an effort to eliminate health disparities. Dr. Easton also served in a leadership role in the National Pharmaceutical Association as a member of the Board of Trustees. She is well respected as a member of the pharmacy profession and is an outstanding individual.

Dr. Michelle Easton and I worked on several projects at the University of Charleston School of Pharmacy. One of the projects we worked together was the transitioning from PC to Mac for the faculty and staff. With Michelle, I developed a 1-year plan for this transition. Michelle was involved in designing the entire process and in providing feedback and practical suggestions to make this transition work. Within a year, as planned, the transition was complete and all faculty and staff were able to use Mac. Michelle uses strategic thinking, vision for the future, and perseverance. She provides feedback when needed and always has the end in mind when beginning a project. Moreover, she provides the means for the successful completion of the project. I improved my strategic thinking skills working with her. She is easy to work with and a very personable individual. I would certainly work with her again.

“I was looking for an external perspective on how my strengths show up and how I could use them more effectively. Michelle provided me with very personal and insightful coaching. She is a keen observer of people and she sees well beyond the surface. Being in her presence is calming and made me comfortable exploring some pretty personal stuff! Her questions were thought-provoking, helping me to think differently and see myself in ways I hadn't previously considered. The result is, I am able to use my strengths more intentionally, more often... and enjoy better outcomes.”
